An about page, about me, as to start by saying “I am”. I am only beginning to understand the words “I am”. Ultimately I am me, and I am you, and I am the sky, the trees, the earth and everything that is.

But also I am a house painter. I love being a painter! I have dedicated my entire working life to honing my art and I am proud of the level of professionalism I have achieved so far. I get joy from making a client’s vision come to life, whether it’s an old Queenslander or a new home build! I apprenticed under my father and started quoting my own small jobs while still in high school. Ever since then I have enjoyed working directly for home owners. I have never had to worry about finding a job because I was always able to create my own.

Also I am a student. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management at Swinburne University. I find the social science aspect of business most fascinating and my studies have highlighted issues I mightn’t have otherwise considered. I have enjoyed learning about the psychology behind aspects like human resources, advertising and marketing. Discovering the benefits and pitfalls of our economic system has been a huge learning for me in my academic life, and in the overall actualisation of my true self. And now here “I am” before you presenting this digital portfolio in it’s infancy, as Assignment 1 of Media Content Creation.
